Gaiish term
A boundary that makes an answer acceptable: scope, limit, requirement, tone or exclusion.
In Gaiish, CONSTRAINTS: states the rules the result must satisfy. Useful constraints quantify length or count, name the audience and tone, define scope, exclude unwanted material and say how to handle uncertainty.
A constraint is not a wish for the model to be generally careful. “No more than 300 words” or “quote the supplied clause for every claim” gives a reviewer something concrete to check.
