Gaiish term
The situation, audience and source material a model needs but cannot infer.
In Gaiish, CONTEXT: supplies the facts that shape the task: documents, data, audience, timing, systems, decisions already made and what has been tried. Paste material rather than asking the model to guess what a document contains.
Context is different from an instruction. Put the material under CONTEXT:, then say what to do with it under INSTRUCTION:. Large corpora may require retrieval so the relevant passage reaches the model.
