A language model trained on large text datasets to predict and generate sequences of tokens.
A large language model can generate fluent text because training gives it a broad statistical model of language and other patterns. It does not mean every generated statement is sourced, current or correct.
Prompt structure helps a writer state what the model should use and produce. Different large language models still have different limits and behaviours, so test the actual model and review consequential outputs.
